The Project Puppy Package is a month long immersive course which is held at Cousin Anne's. We have a small private backyard on the Upper Eastside of Manhattan. Your puppy will be able to go outside to enjoy a safe and secure space. Once your puppy receives all of the necessary shots, your puppy will venture out onto the sidewalks of Manhattan.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT PUPPY PROGRAM?

This an introduction to basic puppy skills & canine etiquette held Cousin Anne's Dog Academy. Your dog will learn the following:

-Accepting a friendly stranger 

-Sitting politely for petting 

-Appearance and grooming 

-Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)

-Walking through a crowd 

-Sit and down on cue and stay in place 

-Coming when called 

-Reaction to another dog 

-Reaction to distraction 

-Supervised separation 

HOW LONG WILL MY DOG BE AWAY? 

One month.

WILL MY DOG REMEMBER ME AFTER THIS PROGRAM?

ABSOLUTELY! They never forget their human. 

WILL POTTY TRAINING BE INCLUDED IN THIS PROGRAM?

Potty training can be started but with any good thing, it takes time. The routine created will need to be followed after leaving Cousin Anne's. 

This program is followed up by a 60 minute In-Home Visit to assist you in re-integrating your puppy into your home.

Additional Cost:

Professionally edited videos can be created of your puppy participating in the lessons from each Course with Cousin Anne and Cousin Cody. This will help you see how to practice at home for our video visit.

We love spending the most time that we can with our fur children but we can't be with them every second of every day. Healthy separation habits are an important area to understand, especially after a year that has brought us pandemic challenges. We focus on the importance of setting a lifetime routine of trust, respect and calmness for you and your pup.

 Topics include:

• how your energy impacts your pup • how your pups energy impacts your decisions • how your pup understands your departure from home (or the room!) •what habits are healthy for you both • Nest (crate) training

DOES MY DOG NEED TO SHARE COUSIN ANNE DURING THE MONTH?

At first, no, but the reason your pup is here is to learn how to be happy on their own. Cousin Anne is familiar with being alone, since she is an only child. She can teach your dog that being alone is cool so you can do what you need to do.

Walk this way is a week long refresher course of basic skills. This 24/7 accelerated program gets your pup to walk where YOU want them to walk.

DOES MY DOG NEED TO SHARE COUSIN ANNE DURING THIS SESSION? 

Your dog will have both one-on-one sessions and group sessions so they can learn how to be the best they can be alone and with the pack. 

HOW LONG WILL MY DOG BE WITH COUSIN ANNE?

1 week full of lots of training. Plus, your dog gets to have slumber party with the whole pack.
